BLUES BLUES BLUES! The Scottsdale Blues Rugby Football Club will always have a place in my heart. Being the first Rugby club I had the fortune to be in, they continue to drive my desire to be as good as I can be.  They players, coaches and fans impacted my life after the last deployment in such a fundamental way. You don't always know what is missing in your life until it's right in front of you.

The squad as I left it in April just as the seasons momentum started. I am looking forward to hat Sacramento has in store for me ith the Sacramento Capitols RFC.

Pura Vida

Costa Rica was amazing.  Thanks to Steve for inviting me. We had fun wtih the welcome sign for meeting the lovely ladies at the airport.
The Sunsets were amazing.

We drove up to Arenal to do a little Zip-lining.

Even the evenings on the beach were great. All because of the good conversations and great friends.
Unfortunate turn of events - the problem ith having a private elevator to your suite.. if it breaks 1/2 way up because you all eigh too much it takes a while to get help. Good thing we are all good cllimbers.

The pool was amazing. This was great to walk into.

Wolf Creek 2013

Good times and good friends.  Wolf Creek never fails to be a great destination.  One of the best out of the way gems.  Thanks to my brother for recommending it years ago.

The world looks so much better through snowboarding goggles.  Bluebird days almost every day on this trip.  The crazy day was the last one.  It dumped 12" of new snow the last day for Travis and I to enjoy. Epic.

The pups loved the snow, I didn't want to leave them home, but Wyndham changed their dog policy after I booked the timeshare. Everyone agreed to take the risk, so I didn't have to find a kennel in Pagosa Springs for them.  It was a little uncomfortable wearing a black fleece covered by husky hair and signing the statement I had no dogs and what the fine would be if they found some.
